Applesauce Energy Balls
You know those days where you have that crash of energy around mid afternoon? Or those days that you want that sweet treat after a meal? Or, those days you want to give your kids a healthy snack when you are on the go?
Try these Applesauce Energy Balls! Loaded with organic apples, dates, almonds, oats, and chia seeds to help give you a satisfying and energy boosting healthy snack any time of day.
Wacky Applesauce Energy Balls:
1 cup dried apples
1/2 cup medjool dates, pits removed
1/2 cup Raw almonds
1/3 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 cup cinnamon wacky apple sauce
1 TBS Chia seeds
Optional Add Ins: We also like to add coconut flakes, hemp seeds or chocolate chips to jazz them up!
Add all of the ingredients to a food processor or high speed blender and blend until the mixture turns into a paste or dough like consistency.
Scoop out heaping tablespoons of the mixture and roll into balls.
Store the energy bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer. Will keep 7-10 days in the refrigerator and 1-2 months in the freezer.
