Crockpot Cinnamon Applesauce Oats
Wake up to the smell of apples and cinnamon and indulge in a warm and satisfying breakfast that will help you start your day off right.
Throw apples, cinnamon, applesauce, oats and a few other simple ingredients in a crockpot before bed. How easy does that sound?
 
Crockpot Cinnamon Applesauce Oats
( Easy Overnight Hot Oats )
Ingredients: 
 1 ½ cups peeled and chopped apples (we used one large Wacky Apple honeycrisp apple)
 1 tablespoon cinnamon
 ½ cup (1 4oz cup) Wacky Apple Cinnamon Applesauce
 2 tablespoons maple syrup
 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 1 cup steel cut oats (for softer and easier to digest oats use old fashioned oats)
 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
 2 cups water
 2 cups milk or milk substitute 
Directions: 
 Combine all the ingredients in your crockpot, stir well, and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Fix it before bed and wake up to yummy hot oats for the whole family!
Optional Toppings: Feel free to add your favorite toppings! Some of our suggestions include: nuts, granola, hemp seeds, chia seeds, flax seeds, berries, chocolate chips, and/or bananas.
