Two Bite Apple Pie’s

Want the taste of a warm, flaky crust apple pie, without the hastle of preparing a whole pie and the temptation to not EAT the whole pie. I am totally guilty of that! These Two Bite Apple Pie’s take just minutes to prepare from start to finish.  All you have to do is grab a few ingredients and get cooking.

Two Bite Apple Pie’s:

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  2. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  3. dash of nutmeg and ginger
  4. 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  5. 1/3 cup pecans, chopped
  6. 1 small apple, cored and sliced
  7. 1 8oz can of crescent rolls

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and spices. Set aside. Melt butter, set aside. Arrange crescent roll triangles on the baking sheet. Evenly distribute brown sugar mixture onto each triangle. Sprinkle each triangle with pecans. Place an apple slice on the wide end of each triangle. Wrap crescent toll dough around each apple. Brush each crescent with remaining butter and sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon.

Bake for 10-12 minutes. or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
